Not Just A Cookbook serves a diverse group of people. First
of all, it is a training tool to enlighten and entertain the Tupperware™
Sales force from the new consultant to the experienced Executive Manager. For
the general consumer, it creates a feeling of self-confidence in anyone willing
to venture into the dark mysteries of the kitchen. It gives the reader both the
recipes and the tools he/she needs to create a simple side dish to a complete
holiday dinner. In addition, no other book or pamphlet such as this exists on
the market today, for any similar book has been out of print for over twenty years.
The format of the book aligns the recipes in an easy-to-follow form with concise
explanations on the efficient use of Tupperware™ in conjunction with each
recipe.
Each month has its own theme. For example, January features complete hot meals such as Shipwreak Stew or Mom's Fingerprint Meal Loaf in October. The reader is taught how to blend his/her own coffee in a subsection called Exotic Coffee Blends from other countries which makes the daily preparation of Java an adventure. February, features Valentine's Day recipes to delight the palettes of the most discriminating chocoholic. Every kind of chocolate confection is presented, so the inexperienced cook can proudly create a unique taste sensation for that "special person". In addition, Food tips and shortcuts aid every cook no matter how experienced he/she may be, and Food First Aid is a very invaluable section every cook will utilize. It will surely "save the day" from many food catastrophes! Finally, within the monthly chapters, menus for a complete meal allow the novice to feel both proud and comfortable about his/her food presentation.
The book examines food around the year with Tupperware™. Each chapter is a month with recipes which are thematically grouped. Many form entire menus for a complete meal. This also aids the novice, for he/she can eliminate the unnecessary pressure of experimenting with items that may or may not go well together. In turn, holidays are featured with ethnic recipes to please a multicultural readership. A broad spectrum of nationalities are represented; therefore, this book can fit easily into the cookbook collection of anyone who enjoys trying something new and different.
Finally, each chapter begins with a personalized and often humorous anecdote about my experiences during my extensive career with Tupperware Home PartiesTM. Each anecdote reinforces the monthly themes.
